What is Diclazepam Powder?

Diclazepam Powder, (chlorodiazepam) is the short name for 7-chloro-5-(2-chlorophenyl)-1-methyl-1,3-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one and can be considered both to be the 2′-chloro analogue of diazepam or the 1-methyl analogue of Delorazepam. Diclazepam, also known as Chlorodiazepam and 2′-chloro-diazepam, is a benzodiazepine drug and analog of diazepam. It was first synthesized by Leo Sternbach and his team at Hoffman-LaRoche in 1960. Its effects are similar to diazepam, possessing anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, hypnotic, sedative, skeletal muscle relaxant, and amnestic properties in animal models. It is approximately ten times as potent as Diazepam in animal models.
